I finished up with Preston Chambers on my first tattoo ever, and I LOVE it! Â He took time to go over the details of the design (which he drew up for me based on a mishmash of ideas I sent him and his design was perfect!) and every part of the process was precise and systematic. Â It took slightly longer than I had anticipated but I love the detail and am glad I toughed it out a couple more hours.
I HIGHLY recommend this shop and Preston in particular. Â Everyone was very laid back and friendly and the shop is clean and well-kept. Â Preston was great to talk with during the process and is a very interesting guy. Â We got done late in the evening with both sessions and he was more than happy to walk me to my car. Â If I decide I want another one, I will not hesitate to go back to this shop!
On a side note, the shop only takes cash but there is a Wells Fargo ATM right down the street if needed.
The baby sister wanted to visit Denver and get tattooed. On a moments notice, I emailed RET and Slae held a spot for the upcoming Saturday. With a deposit and convenient atmosphere, the staff at RET made the two-plus hours accommodating. The sis loves her tat from Mr. T, who's shading and coloring made the tat look better than the printed copy of the image. Â I was recommended RET, and I will recommend RET. Thx to Slae and Ben, and the rest of the crew for bearing the yelps of a V-tattooer.
Review Source:The first tattoo I got was from this hole-in-the-wall place in Indiana (I'd like to take this opportunity to thank college for the vast majority of regrettable decisions in my life), so when I decided I wanted to get another tattoo for my birthday, I wasn't going to fuck around. I did some research, made some calls, and settled on Rebellion Tattooing.
Ryan, my tattoo artist, took my horrible sketch and turned it into pure perfection (I wanted a peacock, but my sketch looked more like a chicken/ostrich mutant hybrid). I told Ryan he was more than welcome to take artistic liberties, which he did with fabulous results. I was beyond pleased with what he created.
I have to give Ryan props too, I am not a complete pussy, but I did my fair share of groaning and whining, so he was nice enough not to point out my wussiness. He was good about keeping a conversation going to keep my mind off the actual tattoo, and it wasn't just "filler" conversation either, he was a genuinely smart and interesting guy.
He was also nice enough to let me haggle on the price a bit. I wanted to keep the tattoo under $200 and he worked it out with me so I could still have what I wanted and afford it. I guess I should mention this place only accepts cash too, so keep that in mind.
Overall this place is clean, professional and full of extremely talented artists (another girl was getting a sleeve next to me and I was uber jealous of the artwork) so I feel its safe to say that these people know what they're doing. I would also like to point out that they were not elitist snobs unlike some other places I called *cough* Think Tank *cough*
I could not recommend this place more. I am absolutely head over heels in love with my tattoo...it more than exceeded my expectations! (I added a picture of it above)
