Tattoo Love

I hate to write this as the staff at the shop were extremely friendly and nice people.  But, I went in for a cover up of a very old tattoo which should have been fairly easy to do - the cover up is horrible and now I must go somewhere else and spend a lot of money to have it redone.

The line work & shading are very inconsistent and you can clearly see my old tattoo through the cover-up.  In addition, there are parts of the old tattoo that are still showing (not even covered at all) - the shading also goes outside of the lines in several spots which makes many areas of it really off.

They were very nice but I would not return or recommend this shop

I came in a few days ago to get a tattoo of the Vacant Birdcage by Kurt Vonnegut. My tattoo artist, Adolfo "Vicious" Valencia was very nice about answering all my questions and making sure I had my tattoo exactly the right size and placement.
This being my first tattoo he explained what it'd feel like and was attentive about making sure I was doing okay throughout the process.
My birdcage came out lovely and I'll definitely go back for my next tattoo.
