Clever Rebel Tattoo & Social Club, (Formerly Seven Deuce Tattoo), has recently been fully remodeled and is under the proud new ownership of Joe Meyer!
The place looks amazing, and is super duper clean! The folks he has there working for him do an amazing job, both tattoos and body piercings.

I have had several tattoos done by Joe, his line work is clean, his portraits are amazing, and his black n' grey is bomb. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone! Get in there and get some work done, so your healed up for summer skin season!

    Joey is awesome!

He has done both of my tattoos! His sense of style is terrific and the colors on my tattoo really stand out.

--THIS REVIEW IS FOR A PIERCING ONLY--

I had wanted to get a Rook piercing for a couple years. Finally, in early December 2010 I started looking around for a good place to get it done. I didn't want to pay tons of money for basically a fancy ear piercing. But I didn't want a place that didn't charge enough. This place was great. A lot of my friends had got either tattoos or piercings at Seven Deuce and were very happy with the results. So am I.

    Seven Deuce accepts CASH ONLY.

Everyone there was very laid back. If you go into Seven Deuce, you might feel a bit intimidated if you aren't used to the sort of people who work at these places, but I thought everyone was very friendly in there. Then again, I have 2 tattoos myself. The piercer was knowledgeable and she was patient while I was making my decisions.  Everything was clean in the piercing area. It is now June 2011 and I haven't had a single problem with my piercing.

The tattoo artists are amazing. Period.

My girlfriend was in town from California and said it was time to get more tats.  So we did.

Nick, the owner, did both of our tattoos.  She had a music bar drawn freehand on her foot and ankle and then the ink went on.  Nick was quick and his results, it is hands down the best work on her.  And as we left she said she will definitely be back for more.

I am a Sailor Jerry girl.  Nick has done my swallows and cherries(which has not needed any touch up in several years) and now it was time to add on.  So I now have a large old school anchor with Sailor Jerry script around it.  He even opened up his shop just for us on Monday because my friend was flying out the next day.  He really is one of the nicest, easy going tattoo guys you are ever going to meet.

I am looking forward to completing my entire back with Seven Deuce!

The first time I went here, it was based on recommendations from some friends of mine. I nearly left...The shop was clean, smelled good, but after discovering that they had double booked my appt and I was the one that had to wait, it was a hard decision to stay. It wasn't only the wait, they had their "shop bitch" drawing the design for my tattoo. A big no go. He wasn't remotely understanding what I was looking for.

After an hour and a half, when JP was done with the other appt, it took him 3.2 minutes to draw it and it was perfect. Woo! The actual tattooing went really well and fast. I get so many compliments on it. Since that initial visit, I've gotten another tattoo there and had a much better experience.

Erin, the piercing girl, is fantastic. I've gone there so many times to have her change my piercings, and she's always so nice. I think my first experience was just an off-day and will continue to go there for all my future tattoos/piercings.

I got my first tattoo here a couple years ago. The shop is really clean and looks good. They had portfolios of artists and stuff out to look at so overall appearance was good.

When I walkled in it took a while to be helped. After talking to a guy for a few minutes he basically told me he can squeeze me in right now but he had an appointment in a little while so had to get going on me. I got it done and paid and left. Sucked cause they didn't take cards.

About a week later I came back cause one of the lines didn't connect and a couple of corners were missing some color. No biggie I thought, wrong. I thought some pride would be in the work but they basically told me I'd have to pay for the time and schedule an appointment to touch it up.

Since then I've been tattooed quite a bit more but not by this place. Wouldn't recommend. They basically get a star for cleanliness.

My Hubby has been there TWICE for a tattoo, we were referred. The Tattoo artist JP(Justin) has some skillz! Hubby always gets Mad Props for his Tats from Seven Deuce he's a walking advertisement! The staff is cool, likable, funny and down to earth!
The shop is clean. Has a Skater vibe to it. Sometimes they are listening to Mosh Metal and other times it's the Golden Oldies but Goodies, just depends on what the artist is in the mood for!
We got nuthin' but Love for Seven Deuce!

Went up to this tattoo spot with a friend because we heard good things about the des moines location by the airport so we figure we'll check out the one in Fed Way.

Appearance-wise, it was clean and had the hip skater feel to it.  The guys there looked like the good charlotte dudes as far as how they dressed and acted.

However, after the first "hello" to us, they never came back to ask us any questions.  I get that they would want us to look around and check out their work/designs, but come on, you'd think they would want to engage us, see if we had questions or needed any initial help.  NOPE, not the case.  Just a hello and back to watever they were doing, even though there was only one person getting a tattoo and a few "artists" hanging out in the back acting busy and going in and out of the shop just socializing.

After what seemed to be an eternity of us browsing around the lobby area, we finally got some help from a gal who came out from the back.  She was cool, really nice.  But we left there because of that initial vibe we got from the "artists" there.  Totally pretentious, had the "we're so cool" attitude which I guess is how they do biz.  I'll just keep it moving and spend my money elsewhere.   Thats too bad because I heard really good things about the spot in Des Moines, I might have to drive down Pac Hwy to check out that location.

Entertaining staff, really cool down to earth people.
But my girlfriend got her second lip piercing here and she had to redo it. Making it twice as painful HAHA. But it's great that she took into consideration that she knew it wasn't going to look good.
