I went here to get my dermal implant removed and the piercer, Anna, was amazing! Not only did she make it an incredibly painless process she was super knowledge in the piercing field and helped me change my other piercings with ease. She also helped my friend by inspecting her piercing and giving her vital information on the care of her piercing that the original shop never actually gave her. Â They seem to do amazing work in the tattoo department as well although I did not get one I looked through the portfolio of some of their artists and it looked great! I would definitely recommend coming here for any sort of piercing or piercing maintenance and tattoos! These people rock!! :D
Review Source:Great shop! Â I had a custom piece from Woodz done a few months back. Â Larger scale rib piece done. Â He was very professional, whipped me up something amazing. Â And we did it all in 2 sessions. Â He did a Mermaid sitting in an oyster holding onto a pearl. Â It was one of my fastest healing tattoos to date, and I have 7 Â I def recommend Woodz, he is really great with an amazing portfolio to boot!
Review Source:Confession. I, a grown ass woman (of 29 years young), came by for the for the Friday the 13th event in July. Hey, it was my first summer in Brooklyn, and I needed something to do. Apparently that something was to wait on line for four hours with all manner of unruly/mostlyunsober young (and a few old) people. I should take off one star for the line experience, but hey it was a story to tell. Even with the boatload of people in & out, the shop looked clean & well-maintained. I think they had a few extra stations going since it was a 24 hour event. I decided on two designs from the flash, and my artist was a guest artist from LA- Oscar Montes. The tattoos went fast and well; and they were great additions to my collection. I've since been back for a price quote & I'll definitely be back for non Fri13th work.
Review Source:Oh yeah baby, oh yeah, get everything done here. Â This place is the jam.. I've gotten tattooed here and I've gotten pierced.. so happy with all. Â The staff is so nice, the shop is always alive with great energy and very well kept.. Â I love it! Â I told them about a friend and I's horrible experience at a crap hole a few blocks away (ahemm Asylum) which brought us to them, and they were just as shocked to hear the witchery that had happened... Â For sure we will be back no doubt!
Review Source:I am in love with Magic Cobra Tattoo Society. I went with a group of friends Thursday (7/12) night into Friday (7/13) morning to get $13 Friday the 13th tattoos. True, we waited on line for 2 or so hours but it was fun and I am obsessed with my new tattoo. Woodz did an incredible job and my friends had equally great things so say about their artists. The place is clean and charming as are the people who work there. I will most definitely be returning to MCTS for further, more elaborate ink courtesy of Woodz in the very, very near future.
Go here. Get a beautiful tattoo. You will be glad that you did.
Swung by here on a vacation to NY recently and got tattooed by Sean. I was on a little bit of a time crunch while I was in town so he actually came in on his day off to tattoo me. Super fast and done perfectly. Couldnt of asked for a better cobra. Everyone in the shop was super nice and friendly. Will def be back next time I am in the area.
Review Source:Came here for the year's 2nd Friday the 13th all-day tattooing marathon. Unlike other shops, these folks are here for a full 24 hours. That's right, tattoos all day, from midnight to midnight. That alone is pretty impressive, but on top of that everyone there is super nice: great senses of humor, no pressure, no attitude.
They didn't even give me (that much of) a hard time for committing that most embarrassing faux-pas of asking to move the stencil once I realized my hastily-chosen placement would drive me nuts!
"Hey!" said an artist working nearby. "No moving the stencil once it's down!"
But Sean (my artist for the day) was very forgiving and let me move it. Â He was also really good about checking in with me after I quickly realized that tummies = more uncomfy to tattoo than arms. For a fun, spur of the moment $13 tattoo, I consider that exceptional service!
Definitely a great first experience. Hope to be back soon!
nice, new shop with friendly staff. after meeting Woodz at Inborn Tattoo i knew i wanted him to tattoo me, he is such a nice guy and has a really amazing portfolio. he did not disappoint, he tattooed a feather on my arm and the next day i sent him pictures for my next tattoo. i highly recommend the shop and can't wait to go back again!
