I was on vacation in NYC and walked by this shop and decided to walk in and check it out. I met with Evan Kim and talked about what would love good with my existing dragon. Evan suggested a Hannya  mask. I came back the next day and Evan did a absolutely AMAZING Hannya. He is a very talented artist and a great guy. I highly recommend him to anyone considering getting a tattoo. FIVE Stars for Evan!!!!!!!
Review Source:Great experience. I'm a really picky and skeptical person but Christopher was very patient and made sure I was content with my tattoo. He sketched a couple of great tattoos until I picked one I was in love with. He's very professional and made sure I was comfortable. The staff is very chill and easy going. The price was decent and worth every penny. I've been to too many shops with outrageous prices and blame it on "quality" when its just a simple piece. I would definitely be returning for my next tattoo!
Review Source:Evan Kim! He is a true artist, he took my idea and gave it life. It was a large piece and took 4 hours. Â His work is impeccable (clean lines, perfect placement) and an amazing touch. Â I am going back in a few weeks to add the shading and both me and my wife are having Evan sketch another large design for us. Â And my wife (with 7 tattoos, one that took 7 hours, is really picky when it comes to tattoo artists so she's difficult to impress. Â And Evan did more than impress.
Review Source:I came in to get a really small, simple tattoo here after reading all the great reviews and was able to walk in and get an appointment immediately, and left with what looked like a good tattoo. However, it scabbed over badly and most of the ink came out as it healed. I've been back twice now trying to get it fixed. The first time I stopped in they told me to let it heal fully first, which is completely understandable. I went back once it was fully healed, and the guy at the counter was incredibly unhelpful and rude. He could neither tell me when the artist who had done the tattoo would be in the shop, nor refer me to anyone else for what would be a really quick and simple fix. He didn't even step away from the pizza he was eating when I came in, but waited till I came over to him. I probably wouldn't go back if I didn't still need to get the tattoo fixed.
Review Source:Great shop- staff is very knowledgable, space is super clean, and every artists' work is superb. They aren't afraid to tell you their honest opinion and offer to draw exactly what you want. I've only had a tattoo done by one artist here but seeing everyone else's work I am convinced everyone here is solid. 2 other people got tattoos while I had mine done and their tattoos came out great.
I had work done by Val and I have to say- I am 100% satisfied with the result as well as the experience. Don't get sucked into the shops along 6th Ave. Do yourself a favor and get your ink done here. This place is the real deal.
Came here last night to get another tattoo and I could not have asked for a better experience!! All of the guys that work in the shop are incredibly nice. Niyazi did my tattoo and did an amazing job. He was very nice and professional and the tattoo is exactly what I wanted.. I could not be happier.
Bottom line. The shop is great. Very clean. Very comfortable. Great people. I will be back.
I had a tattoo done here recently and it was a great experience!! I walked in at about 4pm on a Saturday and there was no wait. The guys who worked there were very laid back but professional. The place was clean and comfortable and they had a movie playing so I had something to watch as I got inked. It was quick, effortless and painless (well, somewhat)!! I would really recommend this place to anyone interested in a tattoo.

Review Source:Just got my second tattoo here on 4/19 on my foot and I'm so in LOVE! I can't believe this shop doesn't have more reviews! It was amazing. The staff was über friendly and my artist Angel was SO comforting. Seriously. Being that it was my foot, I was so nervous. He was attentive and understanding. Exactly how a tattoo experience should be. Will definitely be going back for him to add more and to get other pieces. I've always wanted my own "artist" and I have one now. Review Source:Very good artists there. My wife and I have gotten tattoos there this past week. And the finished products came out unbelievable. I will definitely recommend anyone I know to this tattoo shop. I seen everything was new when being tattooed. When I walked in I felt comfortable. The way they treat their customers is remarkable. Very easy to talk to people. You can also see the devotion in their work. Used to go to another place to get tattooed, but I can now say I will go to moon sheen whenever I need a tat done.
Review Source:I got the most fantastic tattoo at Moon Sheen Tattoo a couple weeks ago. The artists here are brilliant and the shop is one of the better spaces in the w.village. This is an actual tattoo parlor, not a bong shop that happens to tattoo people...don't get it twisted. Go to the moon sheen, get a great tattoo, meet great people, come back often, be happy.
