Best tattoo experience of my life! I am now never going anywhere else. Jon Jon and I discussed what I wanted and he produced a perfect drawing to begin my 1/4 sleeve. He is very talented, and I love his realistic soft style. I felt so comfortable the entire time I was there and genuinely had an awesome time through the process.

Jon Jon has also done work on two of my friends. All of the artists at Triple Diamond Tattoo are insanely talented. If you are looking for somewhere for your first, 5th, or even 20th tattoo, this is your place!

Jon Jon is an awesome enough artist that I followed him over from his previous shop.  He's only ever did great work on all my friends and even my mother.  Made my old tattoo look 3D and lively again.
Matt Ellis (also from the previous shop) is also a great artist with pieces that pop like few others I've seen.  Great, great shop with guys who are very easy to work with and willing to do anything.

Triple Diamond is just as much a curiosity shop as it is a tattoo parlor, I'm sure the owner(s) may disagree though. I can't speak for the tattoos here but the shop is one of the most unique in the city. It's small but there's an interesting mix of antique medical items, jewelry, and taxidemied critters. A lot of the stuff I've seen similar items in other shops but they had a selection of mummified animals I've never seen before. Everything was pretty expensive but not overpriced. It's hard to put a dollar amount on the type of things they were selling but from my experience their prices seemed reasonable. If you're into things like that, it's definitely a shop worth checking out.

I got a part of a quote tattooed on my rib Matt earlier this year, and came back last month after deciding I wanted to get the whole quote.  Matt was super patient and helpful.  He helped me to find the exact same font (not an easy task), and offered to go over the first part at no additional charge.  The tattoo turned out great, very sharp and really pretty.   Jon & Shannon were also super friendly, and the overall atmosphere of the shop was laid back and welcoming. I'd definitely go back again for work in the future.

Just tried this place for the first time and it was great! Jon Jon was really cool and easy to talk to, no attitude like some guys. And even though there is a minimum, they are very accommodating. The shop is clean and has awesome decor. overall I am definitely going back!

From the second you walk in, you can tell there is a high standard of quality in this shop. From the artists to the environment.

I came here for a piece I had been wanting for a long time.
Matt did an amazing job modifying the very detailed design so that it could work better as a tattoo, and fit the location on my arm. He was easy to talk with as we figured out the final specs. His technique and skill are impeccable. He worked carefully and quickly. It was a three hour session, and I was comfortable the whole time.

The final result is better than I even imagined! I love the piece and will be back for more work soon!

The shop is great too. You can tell that it was put together with care, experience, and attention to detail. The atmosphere is professional, but relaxed; and the decor gives you plenty to look at while you are getting tattooed. There is a variety of antique taxidermie on the walls (snake, butterflies, peacock, antelope, deer) paintings, and a lot of other objects from the past (vintage glass medicine bottles, jewelry, etc).

While I was getting my tattoo, I got to watch Jon Jon work. He was adding to a huge piece that was on its 5th day. He works skillfully and efficiently.

It is obvious both he and Matt have a lot of experience, and a lot to offer no matter what the design is.

Jon Jon's line work is remarkably crisp. He works fast and his colors stay bright. I lucked into an early spot within days of the shop opening and my piece looks as bright as it did once the scab fell off.

Shannon is front of house and such a sweet, smart lady. She's been curating great antiques for their sales floor too -- go in expecting to see amazing taxidermied peacocks and various sacrificial animals. Also, intricately carved bone earrings, some of which even fit people who don't have stretched lobes.

They have a rotating crew of guest artists, including one who does irezumi.

I cannot recommend this shop enough.

I went to Triple Diamond for my first tattoo, and I couldn't be happier with the result. The shop has a really great aesthetic, and they're extremely careful about hygiene and safety. Moreover, Matt is a really approachable and talented artist. He was able to precisely copy a line drawing...a seemingly simple task, but one that requires attention to detail, a steady hand, and experience. They've got my business if I decide to get any  other tattoos. Till then, I'm giving them an enthusiastic recommendation.

My girlfriend and I came here to get a small swallow tattoo for her, and we wound up getting my first color piece done. Matt worked with me on picking out the image, and then he came up with something amazingly nice for me. If you're going to get a tattoo, definitely give these guys a try.

Great space, good vibes, amazing things on the walls and shelves.

Jon Jon is the man, the shop is Amazing with a great energy flow, not like typical tattoo places. He's working on my half sleeve and fixed a tattoo I hated and wanted to remove. Dude got skills his work looks like a painting on my arm, and I'm going back till the whole Arms done.

My first meeting with Jon Jon was at Cutting Edge a few years back when I came to him for a cover up tattoo. I had visited 4 different tattoo shops prior to my encounter with him and none of the artists were able to come up with something that matched my vision. Fortunately for me, he did a sick cover up that I truly loved and got many compliments on! I knew from then that he would be the only one I would go too for future work.

I came to Triple Diamond yesterday for my new piece and was really impressed by Jon Jon's new spot - it was immaculate, spacious and had all these beautiful taxidermy pieces throughout. It definitely set itself apart from other tattoo shops I had visited.

I had an idea of what I wanted to get and had e-mailed Jon Jon some images prior to my appointment. When I came there I was happy to hear his suggestions about what he wanted to do with it and ultimately took my vision and turned it into a beautiful art piece that blew my mind away. Jon Jon is an AMAZINGLY gifted artist and I am so happy I found him. This is the ONLY place I would go too for my tats.

I've been going to Jon Jon for years and wouldn't think about going anywhere else. His line work is crisp and his shading can't be beat. When I heard he opened up a shop, I couldn't wait to check it out. The shop is awesomely decorated and run by the nicest people. If you want a great tattoo, look no further and go check out Triple Diamond Tattoo! Highly recommended.
